Alternators consist of mixed automobile alternators, free of large attachments. Alternators are used in cars and trucks to power the electrical system and charge the battery. Alternators have a scrap metal value, due to their interior wound copper wire, aluminum casing, and other metals used to manufacturer them.
Starters consist of mixed automotive starters, free of large attachments. Starters are mainly found in cars, trucks, and other vehicles. They have a scrap metal value due to their interior copper wiring. Starters are considered to be valuable scrap materials due to their copper content.
Compressor Scrap Specification Consist of fridge and A/C Compressors Scrap, Free of oil, Fully drained without oil and comes with copper stripping inside.
Copper Transformers consist of mixed transformers, free of aluminum windings and other attachments. Transformers have a scrap metal value, due to their copper windings. Copper transformers come in different sizes and can be found in power supplies, microwaves, circuit boards, power lines, construction sites, and others. Transformers are considered to be valuable scrap materials due to their copper content.
Shall consist of whole steel-cased compressors originating from condensers from air conditioner units, freezers, refrigerators or the like, containing a motor inside. Free of hazardous materials, including chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) or other refrigerants and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). No loose iron or extra iron attachments such as framework permitted.
Shall consist of whole and complete fluorescent light ballasts containing copper inside. Must not contain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Electronic ballasts subject to agreement between buyer and seller.
Shall be sized to approximately basketball size or smaller and shall consist of whole electric motors and/or dismantled electric motor parts that are primarily copper-wound. May contain some aluminumwound material, subject to agreement between buyer and seller. No excessive steel attachments such as gear reducers, iron bases, and pumps, or loose free iron allowed. Specification not to include sealed units or cast iron compressors. p>
